20 weeks scan result

Pagi tadi ada scan kat KK sek.7...cam biasala...amek nombor..tunggu..kena panggil..pegi bilik 10 -bilik scan..tunggu lagi....perut da lapar gile...sudah nye kul10.15 aku masuk bilik scan....

Memula ingat yang scan aku tu memang expert pasal tu, rupenya pelatih je...punyala lama ko godek-godek perut aku...sampai leh tertidur, terjaga, tertidur, terjaga...banyak kali ok....kejap-kejap orang yg expert tu datang tengok..tegur die...

Tengok jam da kul11.30...gile ar...baring kat atas tu tanpa bontot boleh bergerak-gerak selama 1jam lebih!!! Penat ok!! cramp bontot aku...But the result ok..baby pun ok, berat baby baru 300g at 20weeks..normal x??

Cuma nya, ada 1 masalah je yang aku sendiri pun tak paham...kat buku merah tu report die tulis Two Placentas Lake noted! apa tuh?? placenta tu tau la uri...yang lake tu pebenda la ea..balik ofis pun google la kejap..ko ingat aku paham dalam english note tu...dengan bahasa-bahsa medical nye, ingat aku reti ke...huhuhu

Yang aku paham, tu pun lepas tanya doktor tadi, risiko nya takut tak cukup khasiat sampai pada baby disebabkan lake tu....so hasil daripada google aku tadi, leh la aku paham sikit-sikit pasal masalah ni....

Placental lakes are seen on scans as black areas on the surface or deeper inside the placenta, and are actually pools of blood.(paham sikit kat sini)

You can see the placenta in the image, right, above the baby on the front wall of the uterus (womb), and the three small black areas on the surface of the placenta are lakes.

There have been one or two cases reported where very large placental lakes were thought to be associated with poor placental function, but it is now known that almost all placentas have one or more lakes by the third trimester, and they don't seem to affect your baby in any way.(syukur Alhamdulillah)

Research has found that placental lakes are present in about two per cent of pregnancies and are more common in thicker placentas. There appears to be noassociation with placental abruption (bleeding from the placenta during pregnancy),high blood pressure or pre-eclampsia, premature labour, small babies or stillbirths.

Because it would seem placental lakes are so common and have no significance, most sonographers do not report them, or even mention them to women.

So..no more worries after this bile baca ni... they don't seem to affect your baby in any way really hope so...

Pray for me & baby ;)
